Cultureshock 101

Our first observation of local behaviour was a rather pleasant one -

One passenger from a family of 6(Seemed like just half the immediate family) needed to swap seats with the 20something year old girl sitting infront of me so they could all be together, the family quite imposing told the girl to give up her seat(window) for an aisle, all the girl said is it a window seat(No! It wasn't) without a word further she obliged out of genuine respect for a family, the grandfather then said "how very kind of you"

I must admit that was very selfless of her, it was either her kindness or she just didn't want to sit infront of me :)
