An early start to the day introduced us to Indias gastronomic masterpiece! Breakfast was served traditionally with masala dosa(extra large thin pancake like crisp shell filled with spicy potato, dhall(lentil soup) and puri(traditional bread)...
It seems like you get 2 types of dishes here, either cooked in ghee(clarified butter) or soaked in sugary syrup, or both actually...basically if its unhealthy, its here & perhaps the finest cuisine in the world!
food is really cheap here, and due to the large veg eating population respectfully that's been well catered for - given the selection, we've stuck to veg to avoid the famous delhi belly... See the pic of mcdonalds paneer wrap its a winner! Speaking of cultural consumerism, I've also seen the wedding barbie in a saree and the lego of taj mahal...
