The tuctuc(aka auto rickshaw) is famous in India, its so small it makes a
small volkswagen look like a limousine, although the tata nano the
worlds cheapest car makes the tuctuc look like a limousine....
it is imperative to take a ride in one, they cheap nippy, and guarantee a taste of the citys most harmful fumes...not recommended when the weather is too cold though, these are like slaves to the road, I've seen them packed with people, stock, shopping, you name it; also common is the adjustment and modifying of things, some tuctucs have become truck trucks, tiny loading bin at the back! Ingenius!
This happened twice with 2 different drivers, no sooner he took of 30seconds later they both stopped and tried convincing us to go else where for a small extra fee 30rupees; the one dude was nasty enough to drop us off away from Khan Market and told us see there's nothing here, maybe 10 shops...there was 50+ fancy and worth the stop!
The standard tuktuk, can hold about 18 people at a time, plus driver.

How to save petrol...
Petrol isnt really cheap here, well
still cheaper than at home its below 1 usdollar. If you want to save
on petrol though(who doesnt) this guy has the answer!
On a serious note I havent seen any tow
trucks on Indian roads, and the thought hadnt crossed me how one
would get to the garage. Well you just haul a rickshaw and off you
go....
Gas Carrier
Ever wondered at the gym, why they have
those hill and intensity levels of 13 thinking where and who would
ever need this training???
In most countries if one were to
transport gas or even just own gas bottles there would be lots of
admin and relevant approvals necessary, not to mention danger and
caution signs, the transporter would also require a tougher and more
powerful mode of transport; not here, here you just load em up and
away you go!
